GARY MOORE To Issue New Studio Album In July

Legendary axeman GARY MOORE will release an as-yet-untitled new CD through Sanctuary Records on July 1st. Featuring a return to the power-trio format, with Cass Lewis (bass, ex-SKUNK ANANSIE) and Darrin Mooney (drums, ex-PRIMAL SCREAM) completing the group's line-up, the upcoming album will be “a lot rawer and 'earthier' than my recent blues and I'm experimenting with some new guitar sounds,” according to Moore. “I'm back with the Strat and you'll hear the Hendrix influence in some of the riff based songs which I haven't been known for.”
